A Primer on Risotto (with Corn & Zucchini!)

Upcoming class!

Hello Friends,

If you have found the process of making risotto to be mysterious…or the perfect result elusive…then my next cooking class is for you! I will be preparing a simple, seasonal (with corn & zucchini) risotto. This class is part of my new “cook along” format, so the class will be paced so that you can make your risotto right along with me. You will be able to ask all the questions you like…and will have a delicious dish of risotto to enjoy for dinner when class is over.

Over the course of the class, I will talk about risotto basics, as well as methods of adding different kinds of vegetables to the basic dish. I will also show you how to make a fried risotto “cake” from your leftovers (delicious topped with more vegetables…an egg…or served as a side to a chop or filet of some kind).

Class will be on Tuesday, August 26 from 5:30 to 6:30. If you are unable to attend during the live Zoom but would like to be able to participate, I will leave the recording up for at least two weeks after the class so you can watch when you have time.

Even if you don’t normally care for Zoom, I hope you will try this class. One of my least favorite aspects of Zoom is that I’m tied to my chair in front of a device for the duration. If you cook along, you will be up and active the whole time. The cost of the class is just $10.

If you are a premium subscriber to my newsletter, Notes from For Love of the Table, you can get a $3 discount for the class through the newsletter platform (for a total price of $7 for the class).

And if you don’t have a premium subscription to my newsletter…I invite you to subscribe!

I hope you will join me for this class!
