Salmon with Spring Vegetables

Table for Two Cooking Series through the Lawrence Public Library

Hello Friends,

My next class through the Lawrence Public Library is coming up soon! The format is the same as before: short (one hour), paced for cook along (if you like), focused on cooking for a small household, and on the Zoom platform. Like the last one, it will be free and open to all.

In this class I will be teaching a simple pan seared salmon with a quick medley of asparagus and peas. I will also be showing you how to make a classic rice pilaf. We will round out the class with a mini recipe (perfect for two) for old-fashioned lemon sponge pudding. As always, I will discuss basic techniques…and encourage your questions.

Class is from 5 to 6 pm on Tuesday, April 28.

I hope you will join me!

Paige

If you enjoy these Table for Two classes…and want to be able to cook more of the kinds of things I teach through them, you should consider subscribing to my monthly newsletter Notes from For Love of the Table. It’s just $3/month…and each month I share three or four recipes…plus tips & techniques for making life in your kitchen easier and more efficient.

The April Newsletter featured individual asparagus ricotta tarts, a spring braise of boneless, skinless chicken thighs, and a lively pasta with caramelized broccoli, walnuts, olives and lemon.
